Gary and Melody Woodward
Melody accepted Christ through a friend during their nursing training in February 1987. She started attending the Apostolic Church and one of their Connect Groups soon after.
Gary accepted Christ at a young age, but later made a deeper commitment at the same life group in Hamilton as Melody in July of 1987, through an electrical apprentice colleague he was training with.
Gary and Melody met at the above-mentioned church home group and while courting each other, became part of the North City Church planting team. North City held their first service in February 1989 and later in April, Gary and Melody were married.
Gary is currently a credentialed minister in the Apostolic movement, and other than a 3 year term serving at a church in Dannevirke, both Gary and Melody have served in various capacities at North City ever since.
Gary and Melody have five children: James 17 yrs, Sonya 15 yrs, then Peter and Esther at 13yrs, and baby Seth at 6 months.
Gary enjoys seeing people grow and develop in their relationship and purpose in God through the truth
of God's Word.
Melody enjoys being a wife and home-schooling mother and would love to visit Israel and help the poor.
